Maria first came to PAVE East Texas as a volunteer in 2010, and has worked here since 2011 in various roles before becoming the Director of English Language Services.
She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Management and Human Resources from UT Tyler in 2015 and plans to get her Master’s in Business Administration. Maria is one of six siblings, and three of them have gone through PAVE East Texas programs. She and her husband Mario have a beautiful, kind-hearted German Shepherd named Zeus.
